Journal of English Language Teaching and Cultural Studies was previously published in printed copies in June, 2018 (Vol 1 No 1) with p-ISSN: 2623-0003. This journal was published by English Education Department, Postgraduate, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Formerly, the journal was managed by Dr. Hj. Nurhaedah Gailea as Editor in Chief and Dr. H. John Pahamzah as Vice-Editor in Chief.
In 2020, the journal achieved e-ISSN: 2721-6985, and published for both printed and online copies. Nowadays, the journal is managed by Prof. Dr. H. John Pahamzah as Editor in Chief and Dr. Akhmad Baihaqi as Vice-Editor in Chief. Since 2019, JELTS had been accredited by Science and Technology Index (Sinta) decree number 158/E/KPT/2021.
