Author Guidelines

1. Jurnal Penelitian Bimbingan dan Konseling (JPBK) is a journal published by the Department of guidance and Counseling the Faculty of teacher training and educational sciences of the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA). JPBK published twice a year in March and September. JPBK contains writing or research articles, written by experts, educators, scientists, practitioners and researchers in the disciplines of guidance and counseling. Research articles have never been published in any other media both inside and outside the country.

2. Article writing JPBK Indonesia language or language of the United Kingdom with a distance of 1.5 spaces, totaling 10-25 pages (including the library, notes, and tables) in A4 size paper with font times new roman 12 and limits the upper margin 2.5 cm spacing, left margin 2.5 cm, bottom 2 cm margin, right margin 2.5 cm. Writing the introduction bibliography up to shape the manuscript two columns with spaces 1.1 cm and width 7.45 cm.

3. Title of research articles describing the content of the subject matter of the writing, concise and clear. The title uses the language of Indonesia and no more than 12 words, capital letters, font times new roman 14 bold prints (bold), and spacing 1.5.

4. The name of the author or authors typed below the title, should not be abbreviated and without academic title or an indication of the position and line. Name of institution of the author and the author's e-mail address is typed under the author's name. The writing of the author's name, name of author, institution and e-mail address of the author to use font times new roman 12 print bold (bold). Abstracts of research articles consists of one paragraph with a single space, and no more than 100 words, and font times new roman 12. Abstracts of research articles are written using a language of United Kingdom and Indonesia. The abstract language of the United Kingdom used the writings of italic (italic), while the abstract language of Indonesia is normal (except for the writing of the word from the United Kingdom). The abstract contains the principal issues, research objectives, methods and approaches research, data analysis techniques and research results.

5. Writing key words with font times new roman 12, single spaced below the abstract. The keywords are written using a language of United Kingdom and Indonesia. United Kingdom language keywords using the writings of italic (italic), whereas normal Indonesia language keywords (except the writing of words from the language of the United Kingdom). The amount of a maximum of 5 keywords separated by commas.

6. Typing introduction using a capital letter font times new roman 12 print bold (bold) and 1.5 spacing. Contents introduction background loading a problem, urgency and rationalization of activities, a review of the literature, problem-solving plans, goals, activities, and the development of the hypothesis. Typing of contents introduction using font times new roman 12 normal and spacing 1.5.

7. Typing research methods using uppercase font times new roman 12 print bold (bold) and 1.5 spacing. The contents of the research methods research approach of load, scope or object, the population and sample the study, operational definitions of variables, research instrument, techniques of data collection, and data analysis techniques. Type the content of the research method using font times new roman 12 normal and spacing 1.5.

8. Input of research results and discussion using a capital letter font times new roman 12 print bold (bold) and 1.5 spacing. The contents of the research results are presented in a complete and appropriate scope of research. Research results can be equipped with tables, graphs or pictures, and/or chart. Tables and pictures are numbered and the title. Numbering and titles tables use spaces 1 and bolded (bold). The tables do not use vertical lines, just use the horizontal line. The contents of the results of the data analysis are interpreted in the form of a proper description. Part of the discussion of the results presented logically and associate with the relevant reference sources. Typing the content of research results and discussion using font times new roman 12 normal and spacing 1.5.

9. conclusions and recommendations using Typing capital letters font times new roman 12 print bold (bold) and 1.5 spacing. The contents of the summary contains contains the research findings 10. be the answer to the question the study or research purposes. Research results contributed to the recommendation against the application and/or the development of science. Type the content of the conclusions and recommendations using font times new roman 12 normal and spacing 1.5.


10. Typing references using uppercase font times new roman 12 print bold (bold) and 1.5 spacing. The content of the bibliography contains reference sources and at least 80% in the form of the library published the last 10 years. References are sorted alphabetically and chronologically as well as all listed in the bibliography should be referred to in research articles. Writing a bibliography using the Harvard Referencing system is Standard. Typing of contents bibliography using font times new roman 12 normal and single spacing.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  7. Bibliography and citations are conducted by using application reference such as mendeley, zotero, etc.
