Peer Review Process

Jurnal administrasi publik (JAP) menerapkan proses peer review. Semua artikel yang dikirimkan ke JAP akan direview secara tertutup (blind review) oleh para mitra bebestari. Pada umumnya, setiap artikel akan direview oleh satu sampai dua orang reviewer. Tanggapan dari para reviewer ini akan dijadikan landasan bagi Editor untuk menentukan apakah suatu artikel dapat diterima (accepted), diterima apabila direvisi (accepted with major/minor revision), atau ditolak (rejected). Suatu artikel ditolak untuk dimuat disebabkan oleh berbagai pertimbangan, diantara artikel tidak sesuai dengan ruang lingkup Kebijakan Publik; Manajemen Publik; Layanan Publik; Birokrasi; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Pemerintah Daerah; Politik; Tata Kelola Pemerintah dan sisi ilmiah tulisan tersebut kurang memadai untuk digolongkan dalam suatu tulisan ilmiah, kesalahan metodologi yang mendasar, atau dikarenakan penulis menolak untuk melakukan sara perbaikan yang diberikan oleh reviewer tanpa dasar yang logis. Semua artikel yang dikirim akan diperiksa unsur plagiasinya menggunakan perangkat lunak (software) anti plagiarisme (Turnitin).

 

Publication Frequency

Jurnal administrasi publik akan terbit 2 (dua) kali setahun.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Article Processing Charges (APCs) & Article Submission Charges

Jurnal Administrasi Publik (JAP) does not charge any article processing fees or article submission and Accepted fees : 0,00 (IDR).

 

Etika Publikasi

JAP is a peer-reviewed journal committed to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics. In order to provide our readers with a journal of highest quality, we state the following principles of Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement. All articles not in accordance with these standards will be removed from the publication at any time even after the publication. In accordance with the code of conduct we will report any cases of suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing to the relevant authorities. JAP reserves the right to use plagiarism-detecting software to screen submitted papers at all times.

 Authors:

  1. Authors must ensure that they have written original works.
  2. Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been issued elsewhere.
  3. Authors are responsible for language editing before submitting the article.
  4. Authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as original articles confirm that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works without clearly citing.
  5. Authors must notify JAP of any conflicts of interest.
  6. Authors must report any errors they discover in their manuscript to JAP.
  7. Any work or words of other authors, contributors, or sources should be appropriately credited and referenced.
  8. An author agrees to the license agreement before submitting the article.
  9. All articles must be submitted using online submission procedure.

Editorial Board:

  1. Editorial Board must ensure a fair peer-review of the submitted articles for publication.
  2. Editorial Board must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  3. Editorial Board must ensure that all the information related to the submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential before publishing.
  4. Editorial Board must evaluate manuscripts only for their intellectual content.
  5. Editor-in-Chief will coordinate the work of the editors.

Reviewers:

  1. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on content without regard to ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship, religious belief or political philosophy of the authors.
  2. Reviewers must ensure that all the information related to submitted manuscripts is kept as confidential and must report to the Editor-in-Chief if they are aware of copyright infringement and plagiarism on the author’s side.
  3. Reviewers must evaluate the submitted works objectively as well as present clearly their opinions on the works in a clear way in the review form.
  4. Reviewers must keep information pertaining to the manuscript confidential.
  5. A reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the Editor-in-Chief and excuse himself from the review process.
