Abstract

Education as an effort to raise awareness of the nature and existence of humans requires various systems in the learning process. Today's education no longer has to follow the needs of the surrounding community but is also faced with the demands of an increasingly modern era. The rapid development of technology requires that students are no longer good at theorizing, but also have critical reasoning and can master various kinds of technological sophistication. Through the Problem Based Learning  (PBM) process as Killen said (in Sanjaya, 2007: 177), it is direct learning that is designed for mastering procedural knowledge of declarative knowledge (factual knowledge) and various skills. So in the model this learning, students are directed to have factual knowledge not only theory but also to know the real conditions and situations in the surrounding environment. Of course to analyze social problems is not an easy thing. It requires a deep and critical way of thinking to see the social environment. However, this is not an easy thing to do by all students. In fact there are still many students who have difficulty thinking critically in seeing the surrounding environment.Through the media presentation, students are taught to gradually explore and develop ideas and ideas and think critically both in material delivery and in me give a real example of everyday life from the material that is conveyed. For this reason, the development of this study is good for students who are still having difficulty analyzing their social environment.
