HUBUNGAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DENGAN KETERAMPILAN ARGUMENTASI SISWA PADA KONSEP SISTEM PENCERNAAN MELALUI PBL (PROBLEM BASED LEARNING)
Abstract
This paper purpose to investigate the relationship between student’ reasoning abilities with
argumentation skills in digestive system concept through PBL (Problem Based Learning). This
research use correlational research method with reasoning multiple choice test as an instrument to
measure the student’ reasoning abilities and argumentation sheet which have been adapted from
Toulmin’s Argumentation Pattern (TAP) to measure student’ argumentation skills. Subject of this
research are second grade students of senior high school in West Bandung Regency. Data analysis
show that student’ reasoning abilities and argumentation skill have a strong positive relationship. This
relationship can be shown by the result of the correlation coefficient calculation about 0,76 with
determination coefficient about 57,76%.
