Abstract

In efforts to increase human resources through improving the quality of education in Indonesia, environmental factors are a significant obstacle. The environment has an important role in this matter, especially in developing the quality of the teaching profession. This article analyzes the factors causing the stagnation of education quality, such as lack of investment in education, an imbalance between the curriculum and industry demands, and challenges in updating the education system. Efforts to improve the quality of education require the support of school leaders to develop the leadership of teachers and other staff, as well as providing encouragement and guidance so that teachers' skills and abilities continue to develop .
