IMPLEMENTATION OF AT-HOME BASED CURRICULUM WITH INTERACTIVE LEARNING MEDIA

Abstract


Based on data from the Ministry of Education and Culture in the 2022/2023 school year, the number of dropouts increased again from the previous school year, except at the junior high school level. During the 2022/2023 school year, the number of dropouts at the primary school level reached 40,623 people, the junior high school level 13,716 people, the high school level 10,091 people, and the vocational school 12,404 people. The number of unfavorable student experiences, such as bullying and a curriculum that is considered too rigid, is the basis for some people to choose non-formal education. This study aims to determine the implementation of an at home-based curriculum in developing children's character forms at Homeschooling Kak Seto, South Tangerang. The implementation of an at home-based curriculum begins with conducting assessments, interviews, counseling, and admission standards for new students or parents which aims to adjust between the needs of students and learning programs. implementation of an at home-based curriculum is an innovation in the development of student character based on the needs, potential, talent interests, development, and conditions of students to master both academic and non-academic competencies that are useful for themselves or their environment through habituation programs and talent classes, and see student development through seven attitude assessments.
