Ramdaniza - Ramdaniza

Abstract

In international schools, especially in Indonesia, the value of multicultural education in creating inclusive and culturally sensitive learning environments is becoming more widely acknowledged. The implementation, advantages, difficulties, and approaches of multicultural education in Indonesian international schools are examined in this review of the literature. Results show that social cohesion and intercultural understanding are improved in students from different backgrounds through multicultural education. On the other hand, issues like inadequate teacher preparation and inflexible curriculum frameworks are common. The study emphasizes how important it is to have focused resources and policies to facilitate successful multicultural education. Collaborative curriculum development and extensive teacher training programs are among the recommendations.
