Chili price fluctuations that occur are generally caused by an imbalance in the amount of supply and demand. The aim of this research is to identify and examine the chili supply chain management that occurs in the Close Loop Agribusiness Pilot Project in Garut Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The research location was chosen purposively in Cikajang District, Garut Regency, namely the first location where the close loop agribusiness pilot project was implemented. The data collection method was carried out by means of in-depth interviews with the agribusiness institutions involved, namely the Eptilu Cooperative and partner farmers using a structured questionnaire instrument. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis using FSCN (Food Supply Chain Networking) process analysis. The research results show that the chili supply chain structure in the closed loop agribusiness program consists of several actors who are integrated with each other to process the flow of goods, information and money. The actors involved include agricultural production facilities companies as providers of seeds, fertilizer and agricultural medicines, banks as capital distributors, partner farmers as actors in the cultivation process, the Eptilu Cooperative as the marketing and processing process for chilies, and customer companies that purchase chili supplies from the Eptilu Cooperative , as well as marketing chili to consumers through traditional markets, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, catering or marketing directly. This supply chain is supported by productive farmer partners, the Eptilu Cooperative and agricultural production facilities companies that are proactive and responsive to farmers' needs. Supported by updating digital technology regarding effective cultivation processes based on Good Agricultural Practice.

2023-12-12T01:57:24+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Fitri Awaliyah, Wahid Erawanhttps://jurnal.untirta.ac.id/index.php/jat/article/view/19459Potensi dan Strategi Pengembangan Produksi Porang di Kabupaten Madiun2023-12-31T23:46:15+07:00Naomy Intan Dellaandjarastuti@untirta.ac.idAstuti Andjarandjarastuti@untirta.ac.idRatna Mega Sariratna.megasari@untirta.ac.idSuherman Suhermanherman@untirta.ac.idSri Mulyatiandjarastuti@untirta.ac.id
Madiun Regency is the central of porang producing in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze how potential producers are affected by price fluctuations in red chilies, curly chilies, and shallots. This research uses a descriptive analysis of commodity prices throughout the observation period using time series charts. Inferential quantitative risk measurement analysis uses the Value at Risk (VaR) Historical Simulation method. The research results show that at the beginning of 2020, the price of red chilies peaked while the price of shallots reached its lowest point. This pattern occurred again at the beginning of the following year, but in the second year of observation, cayenne pepper became the commodity with the highest price. Producers and consumers of the cayenne pepper commodity have a relatively more significant risk than producers and consumers of the other two commodities. From the producer's perspective, the chances that arise are caused by fluctuations in sales prices, which cause profit decrease concerns. Increasing prices results in additional costs outside of financial planning, thus becoming a risk factor for consumers.
Keywords: price fluctuations, strategic food commodities, Value at Risk, Historical Simulation2023-12-12T15:23:57+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Tatang Sutisnahttps://jurnal.untirta.ac.id/index.php/jat/article/view/23001Pengendalian Impor Kedelai dalam Upaya Mewujudkan Ketahanan Pangan Nasional di Kabupaten Serang2023-12-31T23:40:49+07:00Yuli Saputrayulisaputra76@gmail.comAliudin Aliudinalicardan@yahoo.comAsih Mulyaningsihasihmulya@untirta.ac.id
ABSTRACK

Soybean is a unique strategic commodity in the Indonesian farming system and is included in the top three main food commodities in Indonesia besides rice and corn.
