ANALISA PENGUJIAN TEGANGAN TEMBUS MENGGUNAKAN APPLIED POTENSIAL TEST PADA CURRENT TRANSORMATOR UNIT CT/VT

Abstract


The electric strength of an isolation system equal to the voltage by the insulation system. The Ap-plied Potential Test is a high voltage test, which aims to test the endurance to safe distance insula-tion. The mean is the distance between the primary winding and the secondary (P-S), the primary distance with ground (P-E). And secondary with ground (S-E). From data collection at PT. Tra-foindo Prima Perkasa CT / VT Unit can be concluded then with a smaller isolation value so the value of the leakage are happen is better than the greater isolation value. Because the distance which raised must appropriate with test isotation value are already determined by company, be-cause more big the voltage are raised more bigger the possiblility broke up on current tranform-ers. The molding process is very influential or related to the success or fail of a product in testing the Applied Potential Test. Then the moulding process must noticed in the coil installation and the distance between P-S, P-E, S-E must appropriate with the design specified.
