ThiscommunityserviceactivitywascarriedoutinCimandiriVillage,PanggaranganDistrict, Lebak
Regencywith theaimofincreasing communityknowledgeand technologyin aneffort toprevent
COVID-19throughincreasing communityimmunity.Effortstopreventorincrease community
immunityarecarriedoutbyplanting variousfamilymedicinalplantsinthe community'syard.
Communityserviceiscarriedoutasoneofthevillageprogramstoincreaseimmunityorfamily
healththroughplantingfamilymedicineinthecommunity's yard.In additiontoeffortstoprevent
COVID-19throughincreasingcommunityimmunity,theplanting offamilymedicinalplantsisalso
oneoftheusesofthecommunity'shomepagein Cimandiri Village,mostofwhichhavenotbeen
utilizedproperlybythecommunity.Optimizingtheuseof thecommunity'shomeyardwithvarious
familymedicinalplantsisalsoexpectedto increase thefamily'seconomybecausethesemedicinal
plantscanlaterbeusedbythe communityfor theirdailyneedstotheneedtoimprovepublichealth.
Cimandirivillageitselfisanareawhere mostofthepopulationworksasfarmerswithagricultural
landareasthatdominatethevillage. Sotheplantingoffamilymedicinalplantsisanalternative
solution forthecommunityin utilizing thehomepagewhileincreasing immunitythroughfamily
medicinalplantsorlive pharmacies.Familymedicinalplantsareanalternativetochemicaldrugs,
especiallyplanting familymedicineismuchcheaperandpracticalthatcanbedonebyvarious
communitygroups consideringthatmultivitaminsormedicinesforimmunityarenotcheap. After
conducting socializationabouttheimportanceoffamilymedicinalplants,empowerment activities
continuedwith theprovisionoffamilymedicinalplantseedsandplanting offamilymedicinal plant
seedsin several placesinthe Cimandiri villagecommunityyard. Planting family medicineis
alsoonewaytotakeadvantageofvacantlandwhichissometimesnotusedproperly bythecommunity
