BIMBINGAN DENGAN TEKNIK ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-EFFICACY KEPUTUSAN KARIR PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


Permasalahan utama yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah efektivitas bimbingan dengan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy keputusan karir peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent pretest-postest control group. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 29 Bandung. Data  dikumpulkan melalui instrumen self-efficacy keputusan karir. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan uji Mann-Whitney untuk mengukur beda dua rata-rata. Bimbingan dengan teknik role playing secara keseluruhan terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy keputusan karir peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan tingkat self-efficacy keputusan karir yang signifikan pada aspek penilaian diri; aspek informasi jurusan/peminatan sekolah dan pekerjaan; serta aspek pemilihan tujuan, meskipun peningkatannya tidak siginifikan pada aspek perencanaan dan aspek pemecahan masalah. Hal ini bisa diasumsikan layanan bimbingan dengan teknik role playing secara empiris terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan self- self-efficacy keputusan karir peserta didik. Program dan instrumen penelitian dapat digunakan oleh guru BK/konselor sebagai rujukan dalam melaksanakan bimbingan dengan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy keputusan karir peserta didik.
