Pengaruh Pemberian Balance Exercise Dan Strengthening Terhadap Peningkatan Fungsional Pada Neuropati Diabetic Tipe 1 E.C Pad: Laporan Kasus

Abstract


Neuropati perifer diabetik merupakan keluhan diabetes melitus tersering yang menyerang di ekstremitas bawah dan secara khusus mempengaruhi sistem sensorik, motorik, dan otonom. Neuropatik ini diakibatkan oleh lesi atau penyakit pada somatosensori dan biasanya ciri khasnya dengan mati rasa spontan, kesemutan, atau nyeri terbakar. Pada kasus ini pasien mengalami keterbatasan lingkup gerak sendi (LGS), penurunan kekuatan otot, penurunan keseimbangan dan kualitas hidup yang terganggu. Pelaksanaan program fisioterapi pengaruh pemberian intervensi fisioterapi berupa balance exercise dan strengthening exercise yang dilakukan selama 3 kali sesi terapi, didapatkan hasil berupa peningkatan ROM pada kedua ankle, terjadi penurunan hasil TUG Test, peningkatan keseimbangan dan peningkatan kualitas hidup pasien
