LOCAL-BASED EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION THROUGH PARENTING WORKSHOP AT DHARMA WANITA SERANG REGENCY
Abstract
This study aims to develop local-based educational innovations through the implementation of parenting workshops in Dharma Wanita, Serang Regency. The research method used is action research with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The parenting workshops focus on strengthening the role of parents in children's education at home and school. The results show that the parenting workshops have a positive impact on parents' understanding of the importance of local-based education and its application in daily life. Additionally, this program enhances collaboration between parents and teachers in supporting children's learning processes. The conclusion of this study is that local-based educational innovations through parenting workshops are effective in improving the quality of education and parental involvement in SerangRegency.
