The Relationship between Sitting Duration and Obesity of Administrative Employees at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University

Abstract


Latar Belakang
Obesitas di Indonesia memiliki prevalensi sebesar 31% menurut data
Riskesdas tahun 2018, Sedangkan di kota serang prevalensi obesitas sebesar 31,3%.
Obesitas dapat diukur menggunakan IMT Asia Pasifik. Obesitas dapat dipengaruhi
oleh beberapa faktor seperti usia, jenis kelamin, aktivitas fisik dan lain-lain. Pekerja
administratif banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk duduk di depan komputer
sehingga mereka memiliki risiko terjadinya obesitas. Maka dari itu penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi obesitas dan hubungan durasi duduk dengan
obesitas.
Metode
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Responden yang
diteliti adalah pegawai administratif Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtyasa. Sampel
diambil dengan cara stratified random sampling sebanyak 90 responden yang
dibagi menjadi 9 fakultas dan diambil 10 pegawai per fakultas. Pengambilan data
dilakukan menggunakan timbangan digital, microtoise, lembar kuesioner, dan
lembar informed consent
Hasil
Prevalensi obesitas pada pegawai administratif untirta sebesar 57,8% dengan
mayoritas responden duduk selama > 4 jam (84,4%). Hubungan durasi duduk
dengan obesitas menunjukkan hasil OR 1,4 (IK 95% 0,4 - 4,5) dan
nilai p sebesar 0,5.
Kesimpulan
Prevalensi obesitas pada pegawai administratif untirta sebesar 57,8% dan
tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik antara durasi duduk dan
obesitas pada pegawai administratif Untirta.
