Focus and Scope

About the Journal

Journal of Marinesia is a scientific open access journal published by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Journal of Marinesia was founded in 2024 which focuses on scientific publications in the fields of marine science, covering seafood nutrition, marine microbiology, marine biotechnology, coastal management, and marine biodiversity research. Our journal vision to become a media of research results dissemination of scientific work of various groups, academics, practitioners and government agencies. Open Journal Systems (OJS) has been applied to all processes in the Journal of Marinesia. Journal of Marinesia are published 2 times a year (April and September) in English, each edition consisting of 40-60 pages, containing between 5-7 scientific articles on research articles and short communications.

For an author, please read these journal guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will BE REJECTED by the editors before further reviewed. All the articles received will be reviewed by peer-reviewers with double-blind methods.

Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

  1. Every Submitted manuscript will go through a double-blind review process.
  2. The review process considers the novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references
  3. Reviewers have to provide written feedback promptly on the benefits of the scientific and scientific value of the work
  4. Avoid personal comments or criticism
  5. Notify the editor immediately if unable to review promptly and if possible, provide the names of other potential reviewers
  6. Pay attention to ethical concerns, such as the substantial similarity between the last text and any text papers published or submitted to another journal.
  7. Ensure that articles published comply with the standards of the journal
  8. Protect readers from incorrect or flawed research and studies that others can not validate

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
