Metode John Thompson’s Pada Pembelajaran Piano Di Unity Music School Serang

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Learning is something that must be taken by a student to complete the achievement in obtaining things that are not known to be known. The scope of this research refers to the learning methods that support piano learning at Unity Music School Serang, Banten Province. The learning method in question is the piano learning method in the realm of song repertoire, namely the method of John Thompson's Modern Course for the Piano series. This piano learning method has a grade in each class taught by piano students at Unity Music School Serang. In addition to knowing the extent of the piano learning process at Unity Music School Serang using John Thompson's method, The researcher also attempts to analyze John Thompson's method in the realm of song repertoire, The presentation is in the form of song analysis items and steps in using John Thompson's method at Unity Music School Serang. Thus, the discussion in this study refers to the overall method of John Thompson's which is packaged in descriptive qualitative research.

ABSTRAK

Pembelajaran merupakan hal yang harus ditempuh seorang siswa untuk menuntaskan ketercapaian dalam memperoleh hal-hal yang tidak diketahui menjadi diketahui. Pada lingkup penelitian ini mengacu pada metode pembelajaran yang menunjang dalam pembelajaran piano di Unity Music School Serang Provinsi Banten. Metode pembelajaran yang dimaksud yaitu metode pembelajaran piano dalam ranah pembendaharaan lagu, yaitu metode John Thompson’s seri Modern Course for the Piano. Metode pembelajaran piano ini memiliki tingkat pada setiap kelas yang diampu oleh siswa piano di Unity Music School Serang. Selain mengetahui sejauh mana proses pembelajaran piano di Unity Music School Serang dengan metode John Thompson’s, peneliti juga berupaya menganalisis metode John Thompson’s dalam ranah pembendaharaan lagu, sajiannya berupa butir analisis lagu dan langkah-langkah dalam menggunakan metode John Thompson’s di Unity Music School Serang. Dengan begitu pembahasan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada keseluruhan metode John Thompson’s yang dikemas dalam penelitian kualitatif secara deskriptif.
