REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0 DAN PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI UNTUK GENERASI ALFA: SEBUAH TELAAH

Abstract


Recent progress on technology accumulatively has led to the industrial revolution and differences in the characteristics of generations. The industrial revolution and the differences in this generation demand the world of education to help improve its quality system dynamically. Early Childhood Education (PAUD) as the initial estuary of education is one of the important aspects highlighted. In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, PAUD was mainly prepared for Alpha Generation which born after 2010. The study further examined a number of literatures to analyze the challenges and opportunities of ECD in the era of Industrial Reform 4.0, taking into account the needs of Industrial Revolution 4.0, characteristics of Alpha Generation and quality assessment global learning according to PISA. From the study, PAUD needs to be prepared further in order to respond to the revolution while at the same time lifting the quality of national education in the global world. Some aspects that need to be considered include: instilling a value system, the ability to think critically and innovate, improve teacher’s competence and appreciation, personalize learning and using of technology.
