When a mother experiencing depression, the mother less attention to the health of himself as well as the health and development of children. Stunting is one of the disorders that will arise and can affect children's development especially in physical development. When mothers experience depression needs (social emotional, stimulation, nutrition in the diet) the child is not being met with appropriate. Based on "phenomena" above, then inside article is going to discuss about the characteristics of depression in mothers, efforts to overcome the depression in the mother, causes stunting in children, the effects of stunting in children, efforts were made to tackle stunting in children.
