PERANAN GURU DAN KELAS MATEMATIKA DI ERA REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0

Abstract

Education has to make some adjustmet regarding to Industrial Revolution 4.0. Teachers need to make some changes to prepare their students in developing the competencies that will be needed, for example critical thinking and creativity. Especially in Mathematics class, teachers can develop student’s creativity and critical thinking by applying several attempts. First, by intentionally choosing open ended questions during the discussion in the classroom and also during the exams. Second, is by making sure to help the students understand the concepts in their learning, and not only memorizing sets of facts. To achieve this goal, teachers need to realize the importance of working together and sharing knowledge with other fellow teachers, so that they may work together and help each other.
