KETERAMPILAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN GEOGRAFI DALAM MENGGUNAKAN EDMODO BERBASIS BLENDED LEARNING

Abstract


In the Information and Communication Technology course, researchers implemented Edmodo into lectures which aimed to introduce and provide direct experience and skills to students in utilizing ICT. This study aims to determine the skills of geography education students in using Edmodo based on blended learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research approach. The sample used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used tests through assignments, observations and documentation data consisting of student assignments, test results, and the use of edmodo features collected online at edmodo. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that not all features in Edmodo were used in learning. The features used in this study include group features, assumptions, quizzes, progress. Even so, the skills of geography education students in using Edmodo's features are quite good. This research needs to be followed up to find out the interests, attitudes of students in using edmodo.
