TRANSISI PAUD KE JENJANG SD: DITINJAU DARI MUATAN KURIKULUM DALAM MEMFASILITASI PROSES KESIAPAN BELAJAR BERSEKOLAH
Abstract
Transition is an important issue to be discussed. This is because it is very closely related to the child's environment, especially in early childhood. Early childhood focuses on child development and fun learning, while elementary school focuses clearly on the subject area, especially on literacy and mathematics goals. However, often the issue of transition has not been fully realized by parents and the early childhood and primary school environment. From the studies it turns out that there are still various problems and creates a different identity for early childhood when moving to the next school level and making its status as a student, thus creating more hopes and something that is frightening for most parents and teachers to children. Where most early chilhood has been focused and cramming on mastery of academic cognitive, while affective and psychomotor seems to be in number two. This might get rid of the learning experience that helps develop a child's developmental period that plays an important role in the child for the long term. This literature study aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the views of children, parents, and teachers regarding the transition to school and readiness to attend school and gain an understanding that is viewed from the early childhood and primary school curriculum. The discussion ofliterature study thisshows that the concept of transition perception is viewed from the curriculum in facilitating the transition process, parents, teachers and policy makers in the educational environment.
