ANALISIS KOMUNIKASI LISAN CALON GURU BIOLOGI MELALUI PENDEKATAN INKUIRI PADA KONSEP METABOLISME SEL

Abstract


Oral communication skills are needed to preservice teachers in the learning process. This study aims to analyze two aspects of oral communication that arise when learning in the classroom through inquiry approach on the cell's concepts. Two aspects of oral communication skills discussed are the ability to listen and the ability to convey messages. The research method used is descriptive method with the number of research subjects 50 preservice teachers. The instrument for measuring oral communication used consists of a sheet of oral communication observations during group discussions in the class. The results are the aspect of speaking ability was 80.5% and the ability to deliver messages was 88.2%. The preservice teacher's oral communication skills are based on inqury approach in the cell's concepts about the remaining categories of 64%, the high category is 30%, and the category is 6%. Based on this study, it can be seen that by inquiry approach, preservice teacher's oral communication skills can be explored well.
