STRATEGI PEMBINAAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME GURU SMK

Abstract

Teacher professionalism can be recognized if the main task of the teacher is educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students can be implemented in early childhood education, basic education, and secondary education. The current problem that often occurs in improving teacher quality is formal recognition from the government of a teacher who is considered a professional. But it has not been implemented properly because there is no certification of teaching certificates that must be possessed by the teacher to get recognition that the teacher can be said to be professional. The general objective of this study is to develop a strategy to improve the professionalism of vocational teachers so that they are more developed to improve vocational level professionalism can improve the development, knowledge and skills of teaching and increase commitment, security and motivation of teachers. The method used in this study uses litelature study. Based on the results of the analysis, the coaching strategy to improve the professionalism of vocational teachers can be done in several ways, namely (1) The Concept of Teacher Development as a System, (2) Development of Teachers through Supervision, (3) Teacher Development through Training, (4) Teacher Development through Education Advanced.
