ISU STRATEGIS KESENJANGAN PENDIDIKAN DI PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

Abstract


This paper wants to see the problem of education in the East Nusa Tenggara Province. The research method used by examining some literature and using qualitative descriptions which are secondary data. The data obtained comes from the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan of the East Nusa Tenggara Province. The average education rating in NTT is the fourth lowest in Indonesia. Realizing this, the Regional Government has a mission to improve human resources, one of which is through education. Among other things by increasing investment in education, such as increasing the number of classrooms in upper secondary schools, and vocational and university / polytechnic schools. Various strategies and directives are planned by the NTT Regional Government for the purpose of increasing the Human Development Index (HDI or IPM.
