PENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MELALUI SCAFFOLDING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI UMUM PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract


Berpikir kritis merupakan satu kompetensi yang harus dikuasasi dalam menghadapi tuntutan abad ke-21.  Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa diproyeksikan sebagai seorang calon pendidik dengan dituntut untuk memiliki dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sehingga dapat menggunakannya pada saat pengambilan keputusan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.  . Pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis itu dilatih dalam proses pembelajaran setiap mata kuliah yang dikontrak mahasiswa termasuk  mata kuliah Biologi Umum. Pada masa Pandemi COVID-19 proses pembelajaran Biologi diselenggarakan secara daring dengan metode Blended learning yang difasilitasi dengan adanya learning manajemen system (LMS) SPADA UNTIRTA. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran biologi umum pada masa pandemi COVID-19, strategi scaffolding dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran
