PENTINGNYA PERAN AYAH DALAM PERKEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI PERUMAHAN TAMAN BANTEN LESTARI, SERANG

Abstract: The success of a family in supporting the process of growth and development of children can be seen from the maturity of the child's personality, which allows them to express, be creative, achieve, and actualize themselves in society. Child development is the process of changing behavior from immature to mature, from simple to perfect, and from dependence to independence. In this research, the method used is a qualitative approach. The choice of this method is based on the aim of gaining an in-depth understanding of the father's role in children's educational development. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation at Taman Banten Lestari housing estate, Serang City. The main data taken from direct interviews with parents will be the focus of qualitative analysis. This approach is expected to produce authentic and relevant data. The role of fathers in the development of children's education in Taman Banten Lestari housing, Serang is very important. Fathers have a significant impact in shaping character, providing emotional support and actively involving themselves in their children's daily lives. Fathers are expected to be role models who provide moral support and instill values such as discipline and responsibility to their children. Fathers' involvement in various aspects of children's lives, both physically and psychologically, has a vital role. This study aims to describe the role of fathers in children's educational development.
