Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving Dengan Simulasi Phet Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pada Konsep Energi Mekanik

Abstract
This research is aimed to know the difference of increasing the result learning problem solving learning models using PhET simulations and those without using PhET simulations on the concept of mechanical energy. This research had been done in academic years 2018/2019 in class X MIA. The method of this research is quasi experiment by nonequivalent control group design, and the technique of taking sample is cluster random sampling. Data was collected using a written test of 30 multiple choice questions about the pretest and posttest. The normalized gain scores on the control class were 54% with the medium category and in the experimental class were 71% with the high category. Thus it can be concluded that there are differences in the improvement of learning outcomes between students who use a problem solving model with PhET simulation and who only use problem solving models without PhET simulation.
