Penerapan Model Stad Berbantu Simulasi Virtual Phet Pada Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa SMA Kelas XI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of virtual PhET simulation-Assisted STAD models to determine student Cognitive learning outcomes. This research was carried out at SMAN 6 Kota Serang  2018/2019  school year. The research method used is quasi-experimental method with nonprobability sampling design and uses the population of class XI students. The research samples in SMAN 6 Kota Serang  XI MIPA 5 and XI MIPA 3. Class XI MIPA 5 as an experimental class as many as 29 students and XI MIPA 3 as class control of 29 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data retrieval is done by the Multiple Choice test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are differences in the improvement of student cognitive learning outcomes, this can be proven from the results of calculations using the n-gain test. The control class value is 0,57, and the experimental class value is 0,74. Based on the hypothesis test using the t-test with the polled vairians formula, it was found that the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the STAD learning model assisted by virtual PhET simulation were better than the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the STAD learning model.
