Abstract

In the preliminary study shows that students learning results obtained after learning is low. The low learning results can be caused by learning process. One alternative that used is application inquiry learning models and track collision props. This study aims to find out the description of student learning result applied by inquiry learning models using track collision props. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The population in this research is all students of class X in high schools in Serang City. In this research, one sample class was taken as an experimental class, it is class X MIPA 2. The instrument used in this research are a sheet of cognitive learning result, student response questionnaires and observation sheets. The results research showed that the achievement of the final learning results of students experienced a high increase by obtaining an n-gain index of 0.42. Based on student response questionnaires, the application of inquiry learning models using track collision props achieved very good results. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the application inquiry learning models and track collision props can improve student learning result on the subject of momentum and impulse.
