Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has varying rainfall rates due to its area at different heights. Rainfall in Indonesia varies greatly spatially and temporally. It can be seen every year the average rainfall in Serang City above 100 mm/year. The rainfall of distribution in Serang City can be detected used the thiessen polygon method. The thiessen polygon method takes into account the weight of each station that represents the area around it. This study aims to determine the calculation and rainfall pattern of the area in Serang City by used thiessen polygon method. The research was conducted in two stages, data collection a monthly rainfall and data processing with ArcGIS. Based on the results of calculations on rainfall data for the period 2010-2018 and February-March 2019 in 3 rain posts, the results of the Kologorov-Smirnov test with P-Value>0,011 or distribution normal and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov value of 0,094 for the rain post rain 1, 0,114 for the post rain 2 and 0,123 for the rain post 3.
