Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove the truth table from BCD coder to 7-segment display using the BCD series 7448 and 7447 datasheet. The method used is the experimental method which compares the experimental results experimentally with the theoretical truth table data. The research results obtained show that the truth table data is experimentally the same as the truth table data in theory, this is proven by making the equation into an SOP form (through the truth table), then inputting it into the karnaugh map (adjust the number of boxes or input variables) , circle (cover) correctly, then write the logical equation of the cover result by selecting the largest box or cover first. So that the experimental truth table test results obtained are in accordance with the study of the truth table theory.
