Cognitive Based Trust and Afective Based Trust dalam Membangun Komunikasi Interpersonal Melalui Penggunaan Jejaring Sosial dimasa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract


Masalah pandemic Covid-19 menuntut masyarakat mengikut beberapa protokol keamanan dalam berinteraksi sosial demi menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada meningkatnya penggunaan sosial media online untuk memenuhi komunikasi sosial. Melalui penggunaan social media online membutuhkan kepercayaan dalam berkomunikasi dimana antara truster dan trustee. Trust sendiri melibatkan komponen cognitive dan affective based trust dalam berinteraksi. Cognitive based trust mencerminkan kompetensi yang dirasakan oleh anggota lain, sedangkan affective based trust bergantung pada ikatan emosional dan kepedulian terhadap kebutuhan orang lain. Pada konseptualisasi cognitive dan affective based trust terdapat interaksi antara kognitif dan konflik afektif yang mempengaruhi dasar kepercayaan dalam strategi pengambilan keputusan. Cognitive based trust memungkinkan seseorang untuk menggunakan berbagai keterampilan dan menjadi lebih kreatif dalam menentukan dan memecahkan masalah strategis, sementara adanya affective based trust menuntut trustee akan bertindak dengan belas kasih terhadap truster dan keyakinan kepedulian truster akan dibalas karenanya membangun informasi mengarah pada kebutuhan analisis cognitive dan affective based trust menjadi penting dalam interaksi sosial melalui jejaring sosial.
