Boosting Employee Productivity Through Technological Innovation : Effectiveness of Srikandi Application at Kemenkumham Banten
Abstract
The main goal of this study is to assess how the Integrated Dynamic Archiving Information System (SRIKANDI) application enhances employee productivity at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Banten. The SRIKANDI application, a component of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) policy, aims to streamline the digital archive management process and enhance staff efficiency by facilitating electronic archive management effectively. The study utilizes a quantitative research method using SmartPLS 4 software to examine the structural relationship model among variables. This model incorporates certain key factors like user-friendliness, operational efficiency, and user contentment, all of which are believed to enhance employee effectiveness as the outcome. Data were gathered by distributing questionnaires to employees utilizing the SRIKANDI application. The analysis was carried out employing the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach to evaluate the importance of the relationships between variables. The study results indicated that the performance of the application had the greatest impact on the productivity of employees, with user satisfaction and ease of use following closely behind. The R² value of 67% suggests that the fluctuations in employee productivity can be effectively accounted for by the independent variables included in this model. The findings from the hypothesis testing affirm that the SRIKANDI application effectively boosts employee productivity by saving time on administrative tasks and enhancing work quality. This study emphasizes the significance of system quality, perceived ease, and user satisfaction as crucial elements for the successful adoption of technology in the public sector.
