Perbedaan Kadar Interleukin 6 (IL-6) Mencit Obesitas Pada Latihan Aerobik dan Anaerobik
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar Interleukin-6 (IL-6) mencit yang menderita obesitas pada latihan aerobik dan anaerobik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan Post-test Control Design Group Only. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 15 ekor mencit jantan obesitas dengan umur 8 minggu dan mempunyai berat badan diatas 36 gram yang kemudian dibagi ke dalam 3 kelompok yaitu kelompok yang diberi perlakuan renang aerobik, kelompok yang diberi perlakuan anaerobik dan kelompok kontrol (sedentary). Kelompok kontrol tidak melakukan latihan, kelompok intervensi aerobik dan anaerobik diberi perlakuan renang selama 4 minggu dengan 12 kali latihan yang dilakukan di Animal Laboratorium Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hasanuddin. Sampel darah diambil pada hari terakhir intervensi dan dianalisis dengan metode ELISA (Enzim-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) di Laboratorium RSP Universitas Hasanuddin. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 2.1. dengan menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi IL-6 mencit obesitas lebih tinggi pada latihan aerobik (54.81 pg/ml) dibandingkan pada latihan anaerobik (43.02 pg/ml), meskipun secara statistik tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p>0.05) antara kelompok kontrol, kelompok latihan aerobik dan kelompok latihan anaerobik.
