Stunting berdasarkan Budaya Makan Suku Makassar, Toraja dan Bugis

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kejadian stunting berdasarkan budaya makan yang terjadi pada suku Makassar, Bugis dan Toraja. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional study. Subjek penelitian ini adalah baduta (7-24 bulan). Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan program Microsoft Office Excel dan SPSS secara deskriptif. Analisis bivariat yang digunakan adalah chi-square dan uji Fisher (uji alternatif chi-square). Analisis multivariat yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik. Analisis regresi logistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Backward: Wald dengan tingkat kepercayaan CI 95%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktek-praktek budaya makan pada suku Makassar, Bugis dan Toraja memiliki beraneka ragam ciri khas yang berdasarkan kepercayaan masing-masing. Proporsi baduta mengalami stunting lebih banyak terdapat pada suku Bugis sebesar 85.8% dibandingkan dengan baduta pada suku Makassar sebesar 52.5% dan baduta di suku Toraja sebesar 23.3%.

ABSTRACT

 

The research was conducted with the aim to determine the incidence of stunting based on eating culture that occurred in Makassar, Bugis and Toraja tirbes. The design of this research is cross sectional study. The subject of this study is Baduta (7-24 months). Processing and analyzing data using Microsoft Office Excel programs and SPSS descriptively. Bivariate analysis used is chi-square and Fisher test (CHI-square alternative test). The multivariate analysis used is logistic regression. The analysis of logistical regression was conducted using the Backward: Wald method with CI confidence level 95%. Results showed that the cultural practices of eating at the Makassar, Bugis and Toraja tribes have a wide variety of distinctive features based on their respective beliefs. The proportion of Baduta has stunting more in the Bugis tribe by 85.8% compared with the Baduta in the Makassar tribe by 52.5% and Baduta in the Toraja tribe of 23.3%.
