Perkembangan Tongkat Dan Alat Keselamatan Pemain Dalam Olahraga Hoki Lapangan
Abstract
Hoki merupakan jenis olahraga di luar ruangan yang semakin berkembang dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Berkembangnya olahraga hoki mengakibatkan inovasi-inovasi pada peralatan penunjang olahraga hoki sehingga peran berbagai disiplin ilmu dibutuhkan dalam perkembangan olahraga hoki. Oleh karena itu artikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan olahraga hoki berdasarkan inovasi-inovasi yang telah telah dilakukan melalui berbagai disiplin ilmu lainnya. Hasil dari studi literature menjelaskan bahwa perubahan desain dan bahan tongkat hoki menjadikan tongkat hoki lebih ringan sehingga lebih efisien untuk digunakan, selain itu berkembangnya alat keselamatan seperti pelindung mulut dan pelindung tulang kering memberikan perlindungan kepada pemain agar terhindar dari cedera. Inovasi yang dihasilkan dari perpaduan antara ilmu olahraga dan ilmu teknik (engineering) pada beberapa tahun ini dikombinasikan dengan peran ilmu kesehatan menghasilkan olahraga hoki semakin aman untuk dipertandingkan baik pada level junior hingga elit.
