PENGGUNAAN ALAT PERAGA ROTATION TIMER DAN RODA FLEKSIBEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN ANALISIS SISWA

Abstract


This study aimed to determine using of props Rota Time on analytical skills of students on the concept of uniform circular motion. This research was conducted in class X MIA 1(experiment group) and X MIA 2 (control group) of Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta 2014. The research method used is the method of quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design and purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a test instrument in the form of questions and a description of non-test instrument in the form of observation sheet of activity and student questionnaire responses.Based on the test data analysis, obtained by the average value of students 'ability to analyze the use of props Rotation Timer lower than the average value of students' ability to analyze the use of props flexible wheel.  Ability to analyze students excel in the experimental group students in the ability to analyze the aspects of organizing while the distinguishing aspect and attribute that is superior to the control class. Ability to analyze students excel in the experimental group only in the ability to analyze the aspects of organizing, while the distinguishing aspect and attribute that is superior to the control class with reference to the N-Gain Test where the experimental class gain increased by 26%, while the control group only 20%. At the distinguishing aspects of the control group were superior gain increased by 31%, while the experimental group only received an increase of 24% and on aspects of the class attribute the increased control that is superior with an increase of 20%, while the experimental group only received an increase of 17%. Furthermore, based on data analysis nontes, for observationsheet of student activity conclude that the experimental class in less favorable circumstances, compared with the control class. The data in the form of questionnaires nontes concluded that the overall implementation of props Rota Time in learning physics concepts uniform circular motion to obtain good response

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan alat peraga Rotation Timer dan roda-roda fleksibel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa konsep gerak melingkar beraturan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas digunakan kelas X MIA 2 (untuk kelompok eksperimen) menggunakan alat peraga rotation timer dan kelas X MIA 1 (untuk kelompok kontrol) menggunakan roda fleksibel di Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta tahun 2014. Metode penelitian adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control groupdesigndan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah  instrumen tes berupa soal uraian dan non tes berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data tes diperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan menganalisis siswa yang menggunakan alat peraga Rotation Timerlebih rendah dibanding nilai rata-rata kemampuan menganalisis siswa yang menggunakan alat peraga roda-roda fleksibel. Kemampuan menganalisis siswa kelompok eksperimen unggul pada pada aspek mengorganisasi dengan mengacu pada hasil Uji N-Gain dimana kelas eksperimen memperoleh peningkatan sebesar 26%, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 20%. Pada aspek membedakan kelompok kontrol memperoleh peningkatan yang lebih unggul sebesar 31%, sementara kelompok eksperimen hanya memperoleh peningkatan sebesar 24% dan pada aspek mengatribusikan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan yang lebih unggul dengan peningkatan sebesar 20%, sementara kelompok eksperimen  hanya memperoleh peningkatan 17%. Selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis data nontes, untuk lembar observasi aktivitas siswa menyimpulkan bahwa kelas eksperimen  dalam keadaan kurang kondusif, dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol
