Author Guidelines

General Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be written in English and have never been published or are not in the process of being sent for publication to other journals or other media and do not contain elements of plagiarism. The maximum similarity limit is 25%.
  2. Manuscripts can be in research, case studies, or literature studies.
  3. Authors must submit manuscripts online through the website http://jurnal.untirta.ac.id/index.php/jft/index by registering first as an author.
  4. The manuscript the editor receives will be reviewed by at least two experts in the same field.
  5. The accepted manuscripts are those in technical papers, technical notes, discussions and state-of-the-art reports.
  6. Manuscripts must be prepared according to the guidelines. The template can be downloaded here (click).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  7. Bibliography and citations are conducted by using application reference such as mendeley, zotero, etc.
  8. Citations and references use IEEE style. References should have a minimum of 15 references from journals, preferably from international journals. Use references from the last 5-10 years
  9. Number of pages 10-12 pages.
  10. All pictures, tables and graphs must be in black and white and sharp for good-quality printing needs.

All names and email addresses submitted on this journal will be applied specific for the journal matters and are not made for the others or third parties that have not connection with Fondasi: Jurnal Teknik Sipil.
