Journal Industrial Servicess (JISS) is an open access, peer-reviewed, international journal published by the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. JISS has been accredited Sinta 2 (S2) by Directorate of Higher Eduction Indonesia since 2024. This journal is published twice a year, in April and October each year. JISS cooperates with the Cooperation Agency for Higher Education in Industrial Engineering (Badan Kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi Teknik Industri or BKSTI). 

JISS is aimed at an audience of researchers, educators and practitioners of industrial engineering and associated fields. It publishes original contributions on the development of methodologies for solving industrial engineering problems, as well as the applications of those methodologies to problems of interest in the broad industrial engineering and associated communities. Papers reporting on applications of industrial engineering techniques to real-life problems are welcome, as long as they satisfy the criteria of originality in the choice of the problem and the tools utilized to solve it, the generality of the approach for applicability to other problems, and significance of the results produced.

Effective July 1, 2025, the Journal of Industrial Servicess (JISS) will introduce an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 1,000,000 for each accepted and published article authored solely by Indonesian authors. The journal is free of charge for articles authored by non-Indonesian authors or co-authored by at least one Indonesian author and one non-Indonesian author.

IMPORTANT: JISS does not apply a reserved quota for each edition. Instead, we publish articles that have passed the review process and are accepted by the editor. The review process takes about 1-2 months, depending on the availability of reviewers.

IMPORTANT: Even though your manuscript has been accepted, JISS will not publish it until the author completes the copyediting process.
