PENERAPAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DAN TEKNOLOGI PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF MATERI VEKTOR KELAS XI SMAN TARUNA NALA

Abstract


The importance of the role of physics in developing 21st century skills is inversely proportional to the low cognitive learning outcomes of students. In vector material, all of 30 students in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN Taruna Nala Malang had low cognitive learning outcomes caused by the perception that vector material is less relevant to daily life and less effective learning strategies. This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of learners on vector material by applying discovery learning strategies and technology in learning. The research was conducted in a collaborative classroom action research mode involving practice teachers, physics teachers, and field assistant lecturers. The subjects of the study were students in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN Taruna Nala Malang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The treatment took place for 2 learning cycles or four meetings and showed positive results on improving the cognitive learning outcomes of students on vector material.
