MAKNA SIMBOLIK KAKAWIHAN BARUDAK BANTEN : CING CIRIPIT SEBAGAI PENGUATAN KARAKTER DALAM TINDAKAN, MOTIF, DAN PRINSIP EKONOMI

Abstract

Kakawih barudak Sunda is Indonesian heritage and cultural heritage inherited, delivered verbally, and contains noble values. The aims of this study is to renewal of the symbolic of the meaning of kakawiham barudak: cing ciripit and the economic motives in Banten society. This study uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic study methods. The results of the research are the symbolic wisdom of "kakawihan cingciripit" as a reinforcement of the character in action, Imotives, and economic principles in harmony with Adam Smith's ideas.
