PERAN DAN TANTANGAN YANG DIEMBAN MAHASISWA BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI ERA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract


Peran generasi muda begitu penting dalam penanganan Covid-19, dengan kemampuan adaptasi yang baik di era teknologi digital ini diharapkan mampu memberikan edukasi terhadap masyarakat terutama yang tertinggal informasi tentang perkembangan kondisi Covid-19 maupun menangkal berita hoax dan bergotong royong dalam menghadapi bahaya Covid-19. Generasi muda dituntut melakukan inovasi-inovasi dalam percepatan penanganan Covid-19 terlebih lagi pada era new normal,  semua kegiatan di segala sektor harus menerapkan sistem baru dengan mengadopsi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan penerapan protokal kesehatan secara disiplin. Berkaitan dengan kebijakan protokol kesehatan, proses layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dilakukan secara virtual, tentu saja cyber counseling jadi solusi yang tepat saat pandemi. Namun nampaknya keterampilan penggunaan cyber counseling perlu ditingkatkan, terkait dengan adaptasi terhadap transformasi layanan BK.
