Penerapan Augmented Reality Educational Strategy (ARES) untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa pada Materi Gerbang Logika

This study aims to develop a Augmented Reality-based learning media called the Augmented Reality Educational Strategy (ARES) and to determine the media’s feasibility, student responses, and the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills after. The research methods follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE model. The sample consisted of twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang, selected through purposive sampling, with a limited trial group and an implementation trial group. The instruments used include a media validation questionnaire, a student questionnaire, and a critical thinking skills test. The results show that the ARES media obtained a feasibility percentage of 88,09% categorized as highly feasible; student responses reached 87,64% categorized as very good; and the improvement in students’ critical thinking skills yielded an N-Gain score of 0.36, categorized as moderate. Therefore, the Augmented Reality Educational Strategy (ARES) is concluded to be a feasible learning media to improve students’ critical thinking skills on the topic of logic gates.
