Penerapan Model PJBL Pembuatan Wireless Charger Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Pada Konsep Medan Magnet

Abstract

Magnetic field material is a difficult material because it has a high complexity and abstract level. Students are very difficult to understand physical concepts that related to magnetic fields because they must to imagine an invisible magnetic field. This makes it difficult for students to understand the concept of the magnetic field to application. The application of the concept of magnetic fields is very important in today's technology, because by utilize the application of the concept of magnetic fields can facilitate some work in life. One alternative that is used to overcome these problems is by applying the PjBL model for making wireless charger. This research aims to know the increasing of students' understanding in concepts magnetic field material. This research was conducted in SMA Kota Cilegon academic year 2018/2019. The research method used in this research was a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design research design. The sample of this study was 40 students of class XII MIA 1 as an experimental class. Data collection through concept understanding tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the average N-gain value was 0.41 in the medium category. The mean results of the pretest and posttest were 48,60 and 70,60. Students responses to learning using a wireless charger are in a very good category.
