Abstract

The rewinding process is the process of winding the coil on the stator and rotor again, when the burned coil cannot be reused, it will be cut so that it needs to be made again with new wire. In this process high accuracy is needed because if calculating and installing the coil does not match what is needed then the motor will work abnormally and must be re-wrapped again. There are 2 types of rewinding, rewinding stator and rewinding rotor. This study aims 1). Investigate the problem of damage that occurs in the 130 KW Traction Motor. 2). Knowing the process of repairing the problems that occur in the 130 KW Traction Motor .. 3). Knowing quality testing or quality on a 130 KW Traction Motor. The research method used is interviews and observation. The results obtained are the results of a 130 KW LRT Traction Motor investigation (Palembang), then an incoming test conducted by the QA function includes; conductor resistance measurements, insulation resistance measurements, and DC high voltage testing 3.2 Kv hold 1 minute. in the 130 KW Traction Motor repair process through several stages or scope of work including the replacement of the winding stator (Rewinding), the VPI Process, high voltage test, rotor balancing, and running test or final test. To find out overall quality testing itself can be seen in the running test or final test process because during the final test process itself will be tested again conductor measurements, insulation resistance measurements, and high voltage testing. This test compares the results obtained from incoming with the results that have been through the stage of repair or rewinding and equate the results that have been through the rewinding stage with the standard or calculation that has been determined by engineering from the beginning.
