Author Guidelines

Writing Instructions of Sonar

 

The Sonar : Jurnal Multidisiplin publishes research manuscripts in the field of multidicipline. The editorial board of Sonar invites the teachers, lecturers, practitioners and researchers to donate their manuscripts.

Submitted of manuscripts

  1. The submitted of manuscripts is the original manuscripts of physics research and physics education which have not been published in any journals either nationally or internationally or are not being proposed in other journals and are not the result of plagiarism by others as evidenced by the original statement of originality of works .
  2. The script is typed by Indonesian or English with Microsoft Word program, Times New Roman letter, 12 pts size, with 1.5 space in 2 columns, 3 cm edge distance across all edges, the Formulas and equations are written by Microsoft Equation, and the manuscript is printed on  10 - 15 page on A4 paper.
  3. The manuscripts have to send by email : [email protected]
  4. The manuscript is reviewed in blind review by the reviewers (bestari partners) who have been appointed in accordance with the field of expertise. The author of the article is given the opportunity to correct (revise) the manuscript on the basis of recommendations / suggestions from reviewers or editors. Certainty of loading or rejection of the manuscript will be notified in writing.

 

Writing Format

  1. Systematics of article. Systematics writing of research article  in the field of Physics and Physics Education consists of: Title; Author's Name and Institution; Abstract and Keywords; Preliminary; Method; Results and Discussion; Cover; And References.
  2. The title should be short (consisting of 5-12 words if written in Indonesian and consists of 5-10 words if written in English), simple and informative (able to describe the subject matter). The title is printed by capital letters in the middle with a 16 pts letter size. Does not contain non-standard mathematical or abbreviated formulas.
  3. The Author's name is listed without an academic degree, with the name of the institution of origin, and placed under the title of the article. The author should include a correspondence or e-mail address.
  4. Introduction contains background, research context, literature review, and research objectives. The entire introductory section is presented in an integrated form in paragraphs, with a length of 15-20% of the total length of the article.
  5. Methods of research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis were conducted by researchers, with a length of 10-15% of the total length of the article.
  6. Results and Discussion contains a detailed description of all research results along with its analysis. The results can be completed with tables, graphs, drawings and / or charts. Discussion of meaningful results, answering research problems, integrating findings from research into existing collections of knowledge, composing new theories or modifying existing theories and benchmarking with theory and / or similar research results. The length of exposure results and discussion are 40-60% of the total length of the article.
  7. Conclusion is the essence of the results of the discussion which contains research findings in the form of answers to research questions. In the conclusion section should also put forward the implications of research results for the development of science and technology. Mention for whom and for what advice is addressed. The cover is presented in paragraph form, with a length of 10-15% of the total length of the article.
  8. Acknowledgments are addressed to official institutions or individuals as funders or have contributed others in research. Acknowledgments supplemented with contract research letter number.
  9. The Bibliography contains only the sources referred to in the manuscript. Referral sources used 80% of primary sources such as scientific journals or research reports and used library published last 10 years.

This journal uses Open Journal Systems 2.4.6.0, which is open source journal management and publishing software developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

All articles published by Open Access will be immediately free and permanent for everyone to read and download.
