Pendidikan era cybergogy: Bagaimana strategi guru profesional untuk menghadapinya?

Abstract


Pendidikan merupakan hal penting untuk diperhatikan di era kecanggihan teknologi saat ini. Kemajuan teknologi digital mengakibatkan sistem pendidikan menuju era cybergogy. Lulusan sebuah lembaga pendidikan tidak hanya bersaing dengan sumber daya manusia lain dalam kompetensi kehidupan seperti mendapatkan pekerjaan, melainkan juga bersaing dengan robot dan teknologi yang turut menghiasi jalannya peradaban pendidikan di era cybergogy. Perkembangan cybergogy menjadi tantangan baru untuk  tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik. Secara khusus bagi tenaga pendidik, sebuah sikap dan etos  kerja dan profesionalisme saja tidak cukup untuk mengarungi pendidikan era cybergogy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam menghadapi era cybergogy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian studi literatur dengan mengkaji hasil-hasil penelitian yang sudah ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pendidik yang lahir di generasi X (lahir pada 1980 ke bawah) kurang melek dengan cepatnya teknologi yang berkembang sekarang. Bahkan, rumor yang mengatakan bahwa profesi guru akan digantikan oleh robot membuat isu eksistensi seorang tenaga pendidik secara perlahan tidak akan dibutuhkan lagi dalam dunia pendidikan. Cara untuk menghadapi ancaman extinct pada era cybergogy dengan adanya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dan sikap profesional guru agar mampu mengajar dengan memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi guna mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran khususnya terkait teknologi digital yang berkembang sangat pesat. Guru profesional diharapkan dapat beradaptasi dan mampu mengembangkan diri secara berkelanjutan untuk menunjang kompetensi diri serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
