Probono and Community Service Journal, also known as Probono Journal, is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on the result of community engagement, especially in law community engagement. PCSJ is published by the Faculty of Law Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta), Indonesia. PCSJ is published Biannually (two times a year). PCSJ, as a scientific law journal concerned with disseminating community engagement results and discussing some contemporary methods and techniques for empowering the community in the law approach. PCSJ published articles in both Bahasa Indonesia and English online. Focus and Scope PCSJ focuses on any law issues on community engagement. The topic is, but not limited to, Law and Community Empowerment, Law and Society, Legal Services, and Legal Aid.

Authors are warmly invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the scope of the Pro Bono and Community Service Journal (PCSJ). To facilitate a transparent peer-review process, we kindly request authors to familiarize themselves with the relevant guidelines. Articles featured in PCSJ undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. As a result, the decision regarding the acceptance of scientific articles lies within the purview of the Editorial Board, guided by the recommendations provided by the peer reviewers.

We urge authors to carefully review and fully grasp the guidelines outlined for manuscript preparation. It is of utmost importance that authors submitting manuscripts adhere to these guidelines and utilize the provided templates. Manuscripts failing to conform to the prescribed guidelines or those adopting alternative formats will regrettably be subject to rejection by the editorial team, even before entering the formal review phase. We will exclusively consider manuscripts that align with the specific formatting requirements for acceptance. Cover Probono Vol 2 No 2 Oktober 2023

Editorial Team Pro Bono and Community Service Journal (PCSJ) publishes ProBono Journal Volume 2 Number 2 October 2023 with a special theme of "Empowering Communities: Legal Frameworks for Enhanced Rights, Resilience, and Engaged Participation" which is divided into several important sectors, namely:

  • Economic Resilence;
  • Legal Education;
  • Establishment of Child Friendly Villages;
  • Legal and Community Empowerment;

These articles of Legal Service to the community come from two countries which is from Malaysia and Indonesia. The Indonesia author originated from Sumatra, Yogyakarta and Banten.

In the October 2023 edition, we feature a variety of research articles. "Socialization of Economic Resilience to Reduce Domestic Violence" by Ferry Fathurokhman and Reine Rofiana explores a crucial topic. Additionally, Henky Mayaguezz et all. offer fresh perspectives in their work, "Empowering Traditional Fisherfolk: Informing on Legal Rights in Marine Biodiversity." Meanwhile, Rani Sri Agustina and Muhamad Uut Lutfhi delve into "Fostering Community Engagement: Creating Child-Friendly Villages." In contrast, Ariesta Wibisono Anditya's et-all article, "Connecting Legal Education: Bridging the Gap from High School Civic Education toward Undergraduate Legal Studies" provides a unique perspective. The October 2023 edition concludes with an insightful piece from Pipih Ludia Karsa, titled "Juridical Framework of Tertiary Irrigation Networks in Enhancing Food Security."
